The Maextro S800, unveiled by emerging Chinese automaker Maextro, is rewriting the electric vehicle playbook. With an eye-popping 830-mile maximum range and an ultra-rapid 12-minute charging time, this futuristic machine doesn’t just boast impressive specs—it hints at the next big leap in EV evolution.
A Design That Turns Heads
Dubbed the “Zongheng Xinghan” aesthetic, the S800’s visual identity is a mix of sleek lines and sculpted details. It sports crystal-clear LED headlights, a bold grille-less front end, and sweeping aerodynamic contours. Underneath the body, a full aluminum-alloy chassis contributes to both strength and agility. A sophisticated suspension—featuring a front double wishbone and rear five-link system—ensures the car glides comfortably over rough terrain while maintaining sharp handling in urban traffic.

Electric and Extended-Range Versions
The Maextro S800 offers two distinct powertrain options: a pure electric version and an extended-range electric vehicle (EREV). The fully electric model produces 523 horsepower via dual motors and packs a 95 kWh battery capable of reaching 436 miles of range on a single charge. And with 6C fast-charging tech running on an 800-volt architecture, it can jump from 10% to 80% in just 12 minutes—putting it among the fastest-charging EVs in the world.
The EREV variant adds a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine as a range extender. It’s available in dual- and tri-motor setups, with the latter delivering up to 851 horsepower. Battery sizes go up to 65 kWh, offering a range between 249 and 828 miles depending on the configuration. It also supports ultra-fast charging, reaching 80% in under 11 minutes.
