No Major Updates for 2025
The 2025 BMW i7, the all-electric version of the automaker’s flagship 7-Series sedan, enters the new model year without significant changes. Even the pricing remains steady, except for a small increase in the destination fee, which now stands at $1,175.
The base i7 eDrive50, powered by a single rear-wheel-drive motor producing 449 horsepower, starts at $106,875. Meanwhile, the dual-motor i7 xDrive60, offering all-wheel drive and 536 horsepower, comes in at $125,375. The high-performance i7 M70, introduced last year with a sporty 650-horsepower setup, carries over at $169,675.
Range and Charging Specs Stay Solid
All i7 models feature a 101.7-kWh battery pack. The i7 eDrive50 offers an EPA-estimated 314 miles of range with 19-inch wheels. The i7 xDrive60 delivers 311 miles, while the sportier M70 achieves 285 miles. As always, the choice of wheels affects range slightly.
Charging capabilities also remain robust. The i7 includes an 11-kW onboard charger and supports DC fast charging at up to 195 kW. This allows drivers to gain 80 miles of range in just 10 minutes, according to BMW.
