Chevy Just Made Its Equinox EV Lease a No-Brainer at $249/month

Chevy Just Made Its Equinox EV Leasea No-Brainer at $249/month

Chevy Slashes Lease on Equinox EV to Just $249

Chevy isn’t playing around. The Equinox EV, already the most affordable long-range electric SUV in the U.S., just got even cheaper. Now, you can lease one for only $249 per month—but you’ll have to act fast.

A Top-Selling EV Gets Even More Competitive

The Chevy Equinox EV has been crushing it lately. In July, it notched its best sales month ever (excluding Tesla models). It’s now the third-best-selling EV in the U.S., behind only the Tesla Model Y and Model 3.

And with this new deal? Chevy’s looking to widen that lead.

What’s the Deal?

The new offer applies to the 2025 Equinox EV FWD LT trim. Here’s what you need to know:

  • Monthly lease price: $249
  • Lease term: 24 months
  • Due at signing: $6,149
  • Range: 319 miles
  • Base price: $34,995

There’s a small catch—the deal excludes models with Black Cloth seat trim. But otherwise, it’s nearly identical to the $289/month deal from August—just better.

Extra Incentives Sweeten the Pot

If leasing isn’t your thing, Chevy’s offering a $7,500 EV bonus, plus 0% APR financing across all its electric models. Costco members? You’re in luck—you get an extra $1,250 off.

The $249/month lease ends September 2, but the EV bonus runs until month’s end, right before the federal tax credit is expected to expire.

How Does It Stack Up?

The Hyundai IONIQ 5 offers a tempting $179/month lease—but that’s for the standard 245-mile version. To get the extended-range SE trim, you’ll pay closer to $199/month. The Equinox still wins on total range, and arguably on value.

Final Word: Don’t Sleep on This

With 319 miles of range, modern looks, and aggressive pricing, the Equinox EV lease at $249/month might be one of the best EV deals this year. But with a looming tax credit deadline and limited time offers, waiting could cost you.
