Hyundai stretched the body in every direction—longer, wider, taller—for more cabin comfort. Rear cargo space now boasts 510 liters, expanding to a massive 1,630 liters with the second row folded.

Hyundai upgraded nearly every aspect of the powertrain. The enhanced fuel cell system, along with an improved motor and battery, means smoother rides and stronger acceleration—from 0 to 100 km/h in just 7.8 seconds (down from 9.2).
Refueling? Just five minutes. The new tank holds 6.69kg of hydrogen (up from 6.33kg), boosting the NEXO’s range to a leading 826km (WLTP, 18-inch wheels). That’s longer than most EVs—with no plug required.
Safety Comes Standard
Hyundai built the NEXO to be as safe as it is smart. A hot-stamped body, multi-skeleton structure, and nine airbags protect passengers inside.
Advanced safety features include the upgraded Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA 2) with Evasive Steering Assist. It actively helps avoid potential crashes—automatically taking control if needed, only when the adjacent lane is clear.
