Hyundai Goes Big on Electric at Brussels Motor Show

Hyundai is kicking off 2026 with a bold statement — the world premiere of its largest electric vehicle to date. Unveiled at the Brussels Motor Show (January 9–18), this new model features Hyundai’s latest 800-volt battery technology and marks a major milestone in its electric roadmap.

The reveal highlights Hyundai’s expanding EV lineup, which now stretches from the compact INSTER to the three-row IONIQ 9. This new flagship EV adds a bold new dimension to that range, combining size, power, and fast-charging efficiency in one striking package.

What to Expect from Hyundai in Brussels

Visitors will get the first look at this all-new EV during a press conference led by Raf Van Nuffel, Vice President of Product at Hyundai Motor Europe. He’ll share key insights on Hyundai’s EV strategy for 2026 and how the company plans to meet Europe’s growing demand for clean mobility.

Alongside the premiere, Hyundai is also showcasing the updated IONIQ 6. It comes with aerodynamic tweaks, refined interior tech, and new digital features designed for European drivers.

Performance Meets Play: Hyundai’s Interactive Zone

Hyundai’s booth will feature more than just cars. The brand’s “N Zone” will display the high-performance IONIQ 5 N and IONIQ 6 N. Visitors can also enjoy the INSTEROID concept — a bold, gaming-inspired design based on the INSTER EV.

This creative corner blends future styling with digital culture, offering a glimpse into Hyundai’s playful design vision beyond production vehicles.
