A Bigger Footprint for 2026
XPENG is stepping up its UK strategy. The brand plans to expand its dealer and service network throughout 2026. It will target major cities such as London, Birmingham, Manchester, Bristol, and Edinburgh. The goal is simple. Put showrooms where customers already live and work. At the same time, support a wider range of electric vehicles.
Two Key Launches Lead the Charge
XPENG’s expansion comes with new models. First up is the refreshed G6 SUV, arriving in the UK in early 2026. Later in the year, the seven-seat X9 flagship will follow. Together, they aim to attract private buyers and business users. This lineup also signals XPENG’s long-term commitment to Europe.
The G6 Gets a Major Upgrade
The updated G6 brings more than 20,000 refinements. Engineers reworked the chassis and suspension. They tuned the steering. They improved power delivery and battery management. They also reduced noise and vibration. Inside, materials feel more premium. As a result, the SUV should feel more stable and more comfortable on UK roads.
Performance Enters the Picture
A new Dual-Motor AWD Performance Black Edition joins the range. It produces 358 kW and 660 Nm of torque. That power delivers a 0–62 mph time of 4.13 seconds. This version adds a sportier edge while keeping everyday usability. Meanwhile, pricing for the standard G6 lineup stays unchanged, starting below £40,000.
X9 Targets Families and Business
Mid-year brings the launch of the XPENG X9. This seven-seat EV uses the brand’s 800-volt SEPA2.0 platform. It promises fast charging and long-distance comfort. XPENG positions it for families and commercial users who need space without giving up electric efficiency. Final UK pricing will come later.
Dealers Follow Demand
XPENG plans to grow its UK network strategically. Instead of rapid saturation, it will focus on high-demand urban areas. The brand wants customers to reach a showroom easily. Service coverage will expand alongside sales outlets. This approach supports long-term growth rather than short-term spikes.
More Models on the Way
XPENG confirmed that additional vehicles are already in development. New announcements will arrive later in 2026. That means today’s two-model push is only the beginning. With fresh products and a wider network, XPENG sees this year as a turning point for its European ambitions.
