A Bold New Shape for the EV Space
While most automakers chase SUVs, Avatr is going the other way—literally. The newly revealed 06T is a low-slung, shooting brake-style wagon, built off the 06 electric sedan.
It keeps the 06’s aggressive front-end with split LED headlights, but stretches out into a sharper silhouette with roof rails, a reshaped rear, and a striking rear spoiler. Slim Jaguar-esque taillights and a steep rear glass complete the look.
With a 115.7-inch wheelbase and a total length just over 191 inches, this thing has presence—and practicality.
Tech-First Interior, HarmonyOS and All
Inside, the design likely mirrors the 06 sedan: a massive 35.4-inch digital strip under the windshield, a 15.6-inch central screen, and Huawei’s HarmonyOS 5.0 software. Rear passengers will get more headroom, thanks to that stretched roofline, plus a boost in cargo space.
It’s sleek, sure—but it’s what’s sitting on the roof that really matters.
Huawei’s Smartest Driving System Yet
The 06T debuts Huawei’s most advanced autonomous tech. It uses a new 192-line roof LiDAR with a 250-meter detection range. That improves reaction speed and accuracy.
Paired with ADS 4.0, it supports confident city driving, smoother lane changes, and real-time obstacle prediction. This setup makes the 06T the smartest Avatr so far and a clear showcase of Huawei’s EV ambitions.
When and Where?
The Avatr 06T is expected to debut in China within weeks. It’ll go head-to-head with models like the Nio ET5T, not ultra-luxury wagons. Pricing isn’t confirmed, but the base 06 sedan starts around $30,000.
Backed by Changan, Huawei, and CATL, Avatr is aiming to scale up fast—and the 06T could be its breakout moment.
A Glimpse Into Huawei’s EV Ambitions
The 06T isn’t just another stylish electric wagon—it’s a signal. By embedding its most advanced tech into Avatr’s newest model, Huawei is quietly shifting from smartphone giant to mobility powerhouse.
With EV design evolving fast and Chinese automakers pushing boundaries, the 06T might be less about competing with Tesla—and more about redefining what a smart car actually is.
