A New Era of Smart Mobility Begins
At CES 2026 in Las Vegas, Sony Honda Mobility (SHM) unveiled its bold vision for the future. The company showcased the AFEELA 1 pre-production model, confirmed U.S. deliveries for late 2026, and introduced the AFEELA Prototype 2026—a new concept vehicle that takes their mission even further.
With a focus on making cars more than transportation, SHM aims to turn every ride into a “Creative Entertainment Space” powered by AI, connectivity, and emotion-aware technology.
AFEELA 1 Hits the Road in 2026
The AFEELA 1 will start deliveries in California later this year. Arizona will follow in 2027, with Japan joining soon after. Over 100,000 visitors have already explored the vehicle at AFEELA Studio events, with 24,000 demo drives completed.
SHM partnered with Honda’s East Liberty Auto Plant in Ohio for production. Pre-production models were shown at CES, showcasing premium features like a conversational AFEELA Personal Agent, Level 2+ driver assistance, and in-cabin entertainment built with developers in mind.

Tech-Powered by Industry Leaders
SHM is working with Qualcomm Technologies to integrate the Snapdragon Digital Chassis, boosting computing power and AI performance. Their collaboration with Microsoft Azure enables more natural, personalized interactions between drivers and their vehicles.
A new on-chain mobility platform is also in the works, rewarding users and creators through a token-based ecosystem.
