The GLB Goes Electric — And It’s a Whole New Game
Mercedes-Benz has officially revealed its new electric GLB SUV, and while the outside might look familiar, everything underneath has been completely reimagined.
This isn’t just a mild update — it’s a full EV transformation packed with range, space, and tech.
Two versions are launching first: the GLB 250+ and the GLB 350 4MATIC, both powered by Mercedes’ new EQ Technology. A high-tech hybrid version will join the lineup shortly after.
Long Range, Fast Charging
The GLB 250+ offers up to 631 km (392 miles WLTP) of range, the best in its class. The GLB 350 4MATIC, with all-wheel drive and more power, still delivers an impressive 614 km (381 miles WLTP).
In the U.S., that translates to an estimated 330 miles for the RWD version and about 320 miles for the AWD model on the EPA scale.
Thanks to DC fast charging up to 320 kW, the GLB can add 161 miles of range in just 10 minutes at compatible 800V stations.
Power Meets Performance
The base 250+ model delivers 268 hp and does 0–60 mph in 7.3 seconds.
The upgraded 350 4MATIC pumps out 349 hp and shaves that time to 5.4 seconds, making it a great blend of utility and sportiness.
A New Face, Inside and Out
While the GLB keeps its iconic boxy shape, it now wears a striking LED-studded grille exclusive to the EV version. The illuminated Mercedes star and 94 animated LEDs give it unmistakable road presence.
Inside, a massive 38” MBUX Superscreen spans the dash, featuring AI from Google and Microsoft, plus intuitive controls, voice assistants, and seamless OTA updates.
Available in 5- or 7-seat configurations, the GLB electric is also family-ready, with room for up to four child seats in the rear.
With bold design, cutting-edge tech, and serious range, the electric GLB signals a powerful new era for Mercedes SUVs.
