Certified by Volvo means more than just “used.” Each vehicle passes a 170+ point inspection, carries fewer than 80,000 miles, and includes a CARFAX Vehicle History Report. Buyers also get roadside assistance and, for EVs and plug-in hybrids, an 8-year/100,000-mile battery warranty. It’s designed to bring peace of mind while still saving thousands off new-car pricing.

The Details of the Offer

Gold Star and Business Members receive $1,000 off, while Executive Members get the full $1,250 discount. The incentive covers hybrids, plug-in hybrids, and battery-electric models. Even better, it stacks with any existing manufacturer incentives. That means members could combine Costco’s bonus with seasonal discounts or dealer specials for bigger savings.

Popular choices are included. The Volvo EX30 and EX90 headline the list, along with the XC90—the most requested midsize premium SUV by Costco members last year. The Volvo C40 EV, which ranked high among compact electric SUVs, also qualifies. With EVs, plug-in hybrids, and gas hybrids in the mix, there’s something for nearly every buyer.

How to Claim the Discount

Getting the savings is straightforward. Members must first register online for a Costco certificate. Then, they present it at a participating Volvo dealership when buying a qualifying certified vehicle. Once verified, the discount is applied directly to the purchase.
