A Blockbuster Ending to Tesla’s 2025
Tesla closed out the year with a bang. The EV giant released a slick, cinematic year-in-review video that has fans hyped—and competitors nervous. Shared on X (formerly Twitter), the video highlights Tesla’s 2025 breakthroughs across EVs, energy, and autonomy.
But the real showstopper? A subtle yet firm confirmation: Cybercab production has officially begun.
2025 in Fast-Forward: Milestones That Mattered
The recap kicks off with Elon Musk talking about “sustainable abundance.” From there, the video moves quickly through a packed highlight reel.
Tesla’s major 2025 wins included:
- The rollout of FSD v14, with notable autonomy upgrades
- Optimus robot demos showing major real-world progress
- The grand opening of the futuristic Tesla Diner in Hollywood
- A milestone moment: the world’s first autonomous vehicle delivery
- The debut of the Robotaxi network in Austin and San Francisco
And yes, Model Y once again claimed the title of the world’s best-selling vehicle.
New Models, Lower Prices, More Power
Tesla didn’t just improve tech—it made cars more accessible. The Model 3 and Model Y Standard pushed prices down, while performance soared with:
- A refreshed Model S and X
- The new Model Y, including a Performance trim
- The extended-wheelbase, six-seat Model Y L
Meanwhile, Tesla’s energy division also scaled fast. The Megablock launched, Powerwall installs hit 1 million, and the Supercharger network grew by 18%.
The Cybertruck earned both an IIHS Top Safety Pick+ and a 5-Star NHTSA rating—a first for any EV truck.
Cybercab: Production Has Begun
Tucked in near the end, the video confirms it—Cybercab production is underway. This matches Elon Musk’s April 2026 production target shared earlier this year.
According to Musk, Cybercab will be Tesla’s highest-volume vehicle yet, targeting 2 million units annually. Its factory line? Think more “consumer electronics” than “car plant”—so fast that “people can’t even get close.”
