Electrifying Timeless Icons: Rolls-Royce Reimagined

Electrifying Timeless Icons: Rolls-Royce Reimagined

A Quiet Revolution

For over a century, Rolls-Royce has been synonymous with luxury and silence, boasting names like Phantom, Ghost, and Spectre. Now, a new chapter begins as U.K.-based Evice transforms classic Rolls-Royce models into near-silent electric vehicles. Their first project, a converted Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow sedan prototype dubbed XP1, sets the stage for luxury electrification.

The Power Within

The XP1 is equipped with a robust 77-kWh battery pack, delivering an estimated range of over 200 miles, tested on the lenient WLTP cycle. Featuring 800-volt electrical architecture and 400 horsepower, this EV outshines the original V8 engine in performance. Enhanced brakes and active suspension ensure the signature smooth ride remains intact while adding a sharper edge to handling.

Modern Comfort Meets Classic Style

Inside, the Silver Shadow EV blends timeless design with cutting-edge features. Heated and ventilated power-adjustable seats, a modern climate control system, and a rearview camera bring comfort and practicality. A touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay adds a contemporary touch without losing the classic Rolls-Royce charm.

Evice’s Vision for the Future

Evice aims to launch conversion packages for the Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow and Corniche convertible by Spring 2026. With their innovative approach, they join a growing number of companies giving vintage cars a second life as EVs.

The Bigger Picture

Evice isn’t alone in this movement. U.K.-based Lunaz has electrified classic models like the 1956 Rolls-Royce Cloud and the 1961 Phantom V, alongside other vintage Bentleys and Jaguars. Meanwhile, other firms have modernized various iconic vehicles, such as Kia Pride and Audi A2 models, with electric powertrains.

A Factory-Fresh Electric Rolls-Royce

For those who prefer a brand-new option, Rolls-Royce offers the Spectre, an all-electric luxury coupe. As the company transitions to an all-electric lineup by the end of the decade, it aims to redefine its reputation for gas-guzzling V12 engines with sustainable, silent performance.

Timeless Luxury, Electrified

Rolls-Royce EV conversions by Evice blend the best of tradition and innovation, proving that electrification doesn’t have to compromise luxury. With performance upgrades and modern amenities, these cars offer a quiet revolution for discerning drivers.
