Honda Prologue Deal: Save Over $20K Before September Ends

Honda Prologue Deal: Save Over $20K Before September Ends

Honda Pushes Prologue With Massive Discounts

Honda is going big to move its all-electric Prologue SUV. For the last week of September, buyers can grab savings of more than $20,000 on the 2025 model. But there’s a catch. These offers disappear on September 30, the same day the federal $7,500 EV tax credit is set to expire.

That means shoppers have only days left to take advantage of one of the most aggressive EV promotions of the year.

How the Deal Adds Up

The 2025 Honda Prologue gets an immediate $17,000 markdown nationwide. But Honda didn’t stop there. It’s also offering 0% financing for six years, a rare perk in today’s high-interest market.

On top of this, the deal stacks with other incentives:

  • $9,500 financing bonus
  • $7,500 federal EV tax credit

Extra trade-in credits in California and ZEV states

All together, discounts reach $20,300 off MSRP. According to CarsDirect, a $50,000 Prologue financed under this deal could cost just $33,000 before taxes and fees.

Looking Ahead to the 2026 Prologue

Buyers who miss the September deadline still have options. Honda has lined up savings for the 2026 Prologue, though smaller. New incentives include a $6,000 finance or lease deal plus a $3,000 conquest bonus, for up to $9,000 off. These run until November 3.

While Honda hasn’t announced official 2026 pricing, it’s expected to stay near the $47,400 starting MSRP of the current lineup.

Buy Now or Wait?

If you’re chasing the maximum discount, the 2025 Prologue is the clear winner. But you’ll need to move fast. After September 30, savings shrink significantly.

That said, shoppers may want to compare other hot EV deals before the tax credit ends. Hyundai is leasing the IONIQ 5 from $149 per month, while the VW ID.4 drops as low as $129 per month. Chevy’s Equinox EV also stands out as one of the most affordable long-range options.
