Performance EV Gets a Price Cut
The 2025 Hyundai IONIQ 5 N, the brand’s high-performance electric crossover, just became more budget-friendly. Hyundai reduced the monthly lease price by $150, bringing it down to $549 for 36 months with $3,999 due at signing. That’s an effective $660 per month—cheaper than just last month’s offer.
This marks another aggressive move from Hyundai, which recently cut lease prices across the entire IONIQ 5 lineup.
Record Sales and Bigger Ambitions
July was the IONIQ 5’s best U.S. sales month yet. Despite that success, Hyundai wants more EV drivers behind the wheel. The new lease terms aim to attract both performance enthusiasts and cost-conscious buyers.
Hyundai now has some of the most competitive electric vehicle leases in the market, with the Standard Range SE starting at only $179 per month for 24 months.
Deals Across the Lineup
For longer range, the Extended Range SE offers 318 miles per charge for $199 a month. The rugged XRT trim, with dual-motor all-wheel drive, is available for under $300 monthly.
All deals require $3,999 at signing and end September 2. Hyundai is clearly using the remaining weeks before the $7,500 federal EV tax credit expires to maximize sales.
IONIQ 5 N: High Power, Lower Cost
The IONIQ 5 N packs up to 601 horsepower and a 221-mile range, making it one of the most powerful EV crossovers available today. With the new lease price, it’s now significantly more accessible to drivers who want both speed and savings.
Hyundai’s strategy also extends to its upcoming models. Even the new three-row IONIQ 9 SUV will start at just $419 per month on lease.
With deep cuts on both performance and family-focused EVs, Hyundai is signaling that affordability will be a key weapon in its push for market share. For drivers eyeing an electric upgrade, these deals may be hard to pass up before they disappear.
