Kia EV2: Compact Size, Maximum Impact

A Small SUV With Big Ambitions

Kia just pulled the covers off the all-new EV2 at the 2026 Brussels Motor Show, revealing a compact SUV that doesn’t compromise on innovation or practicality. As Kia’s sixth dedicated EV, it’s crafted for urban life but packed with features you’d expect from a larger vehicle.

Built for the Urban Jungle

Despite its compact footprint, the EV2 is surprisingly spacious. It’s designed to meet the daily demands of city driving — quick, efficient, and easy to live with. It comes in two battery options: 42.2 kWh and 61.0 kWh, offering up to 448 km of range. Fast charging from 10–80% takes just 30 minutes.

Innovations That Matter

The EV2 is filled with tech that makes driving smarter, safer, and more enjoyable:

  • EV Route Planner + Plug & Charge simplify every journey.
  • V2L and V2G allow you to power devices or feed electricity back into the grid.
  • Digital Key 2.0, OTA updates, and Kia AI Assistant create a personalized, connected experience.

A “Picnic Box”-themed interior transforms the cabin into a cozy sanctuary, complete with ambient lighting, wireless charging, and modular storage.

Confidence Comes Standard

This SUV is built with everyday reassurance in mind. You get advanced driver-assistance systems like Highway Driving Assist 2, Front Collision Avoidance 2.0, and Remote Smart Parking Assist. The layout improves visibility, while refined steering and suspension deliver a smooth, confident ride.

Designed to Turn Heads

The EV2 takes cues from Kia’s “Opposites United” design philosophy. It wears a bold face with Star Map lighting, strong proportions, and an unmistakable SUV identity. Choose the GT-Line for a sportier, more expressive look.

More Than Just One Reveal

Kia also showcased its high-performance future with the debut of the EV3 GT, EV4 Hatchback GT, and EV5 GT — all featuring dual-motor AWD and driver-focused upgrades.
