Kia Drops Teaser Images of the Next-Gen Telluride
Kia has revealed the first teaser images of the 2027 Telluride, giving us a glimpse of what to expect from the next generation of its best-selling SUV. The full reveal is set for November 20 at the Los Angeles Auto Show.
This second-generation model promises to evolve the Telluride’s popular formula with a sharper, more aggressive design—and the teasers hint at bold changes.
Opposites United, Refined
The new Telluride continues Kia’s “Opposites United” design language, a philosophy inspired by the balance of nature and humanity. The teaser images showcase a tall, upright body with clean creases and chiseled fenders that resemble cut stone.
At the front, thin vertical Star Map LED lights create a futuristic, high-tech look. The silhouette appears more squared-off, giving the SUV a commanding road presence.
Floating Roof and Chiseled Details
The 2027 Telluride features a floating roof effect, created by blacked-out pillars and a subtly rising beltline. Its flat roofline intersects a forward-raked D-pillar, creating a sense of movement—even at a standstill.
Broad fenders and a wide hood give it a planted stance, while fluid side contours soften the overall look, keeping the SUV’s shape elegant yet rugged.
Interior Updates Expected
While Kia hasn’t revealed the interior yet, the 2027 Telluride is expected to receive a significant upgrade inside. Given the success of the outgoing model’s upscale cabin, Kia will likely build on that formula with more tech, better materials, and increased space.
Expect a larger curved display, wireless connectivity features, and premium finishes that push the Telluride further into near-luxury territory. Second- and third-row comfort will remain a priority, especially with growing competition in the full-size SUV segment.
More details on the interior layout and features are expected at the official reveal in Los Angeles.
Debut Set for November 20
Kia will officially unveil the 2027 Telluride during a press conference at the Los Angeles Auto Show on November 20 at 9:00 AM PT. The event will be livestreamed on kia.com and Kia’s official social media channels.
With these bold design updates, the new Telluride looks ready to redefine its place in the full-size SUV segment.
