Tesla Access Begins July 31
Starting July 31, all Lucid Air models—regardless of trim or year—will officially gain access to over 23,500 Tesla Superchargers across North America. Owners will need to purchase a Lucid-approved NACS adapter, priced at $220. This DC NACS-to-CCS1 adapter supports charging speeds up to 50 kW, allowing Lucid drivers to add as much as 200 miles of range per hour. Once plugged in, charging can be initiated directly through the Lucid app, with payments handled seamlessly via Lucid Wallet.
2026 Models Bring More Range and Refinement
Lucid’s latest update isn’t just about convenience—it’s about going farther. The 2026 Lucid Air Touring gets a major efficiency boost thanks to improved battery density, pushing its EPA-estimated range to 431 miles—a 6% jump. The Air Grand Touring retains its long-distance crown with an impressive 512-mile EPA rating, still leading the industry.
Across the entire 2026 Air lineup, an upgraded AC compressor improves cabin cooling and cuts noise levels, making every ride more comfortable. Also joining the options list is a new 19-inch “Aeronaut” wheel design, available in both Platinum and Stealth finishes, adding a touch of style and aerodynamic advantage.
More Tech, More Comfort
Luxury comes standard on the Air Grand Touring, now equipped with 20-way adjustable power front seats. These seats feature heating, ventilation, memory settings, and built-in massage functions—ideal for long-haul comfort.
All models now include Lucid’s Mobile Charging Cable Kit as standard equipment. It supports 240V charging at 40 amps (up to 40 miles of range per hour) or basic 120V charging. With the RangeXchange adapter, vehicle-to-vehicle charging becomes possible, adding even more flexibility for EV owners on the move.
Smarter Driving with DreamDrive Pro
Lucid’s advanced driver-assist system, DreamDrive Pro, adds Hands-Free Drive Assist and Lane Change Assist. These new features will be delivered via software update later this month.
