Finally, a Winch for Rivian Drivers
Rivian R1T and R1S owners have long craved a proper winch solution. Until now, there wasn’t a clean, bolt-on way to add one. That’s changing with the RMaxx front bumper from EV Sportline—the first plug-and-play winch-compatible bumper built specifically for Rivian’s adventure EVs.
It’s made from aluminum, needs no drilling or cutting, and doesn’t mess with factory safety systems. A serious off-road upgrade, without the headache.
Smart Engineering, Built to Last
The RMaxx bumper fits both the R1T and R1S and preserves original recovery points. It adds a removable skid plate for extra front-end protection. Even better, the crash structure underneath stays intact, so safety features function as normal.
The bumper is crafted from aluminum alloy and finished with a triple-layer coating for durability. It’s designed to take a beating—and never rust, even after years of hard use.
The Power Problem, Solved
Since Rivian EVs lack a strong auxiliary output, powering a winch isn’t simple. That’s why EV Sportline created a custom frunk-mounted battery kit to do the job. It charges from the vehicle’s built-in outlets and powers the winch when needed.
Two options are available:
- AGM Kit – $595, 100Ah, ~15 minutes of winch time, 63 lbs.
- Lithium Kit – $1,295, 120Ah, ~20 minutes of winch time, 30 lbs.
- Both are compact, portable, and fit cleanly under the frunk.
Fully Custom, Fully Reversible
The base RMaxx bumper and skid plate package costs $1,995. Optional upgrades include:
- Lighting kits (from ~$400)
- Winch receiver & frame ($450)
- Full build with winch and lights: up to $6,300
Everything is reversible and warranty-safe, and works with both Gen1 and Gen2 Rivians. Pre-orders are open now, with deliveries expected by year-end.
