Polestar Just Announced 4 New EVs

Polestar Launches Its Biggest Product Push Yet

Polestar just confirmed the largest rollout in its history. Over the next three years, the Swedish performance EV brand will introduce four new models. Deliveries of the Polestar 5 begin in summer 2026. A new Polestar 4 variant follows in Q4 2026. Then comes a fully redesigned Polestar 2 in 2027 and the all-new compact SUV, Polestar 7, in 2028.

CEO Michael Lohscheller says the brand is targeting high-growth, high-value EV segments at record speed. The goal is clear. Expand fast. Grow profitably.

Polestar 5 Leads the Charge

The Polestar 5 acts as the halo car. This four-door Grand Tourer rides on a lightweight bonded aluminum platform. It blends performance with long-distance comfort. Early reviews during its European launch tour have been strong.

Customer deliveries begin in summer 2026. Expect it to elevate the brand’s performance credentials even further.

A Broader Polestar 4 Arrives in 2026

Polestar 4 already stands as the brand’s best-seller. Later this year, Polestar will unveil a new variant built on the same technology. Deliveries start in the fourth quarter of 2026.

The new version aims to reach a wider audience. It combines estate-like space with SUV versatility while keeping Polestar’s dynamic edge.

A New Polestar 2 and Compact Polestar 7

Polestar will replace its iconic Polestar 2 with a fully new generation in early 2027. The current model has sold over 190,000 units worldwide. The successor plays a central role in the brand’s next chapter.

Then in 2028, Polestar enters Europe’s largest EV segment with the Polestar 7. The compact premium SUV segment represents roughly one-third of BEV sales in Europe. Production for this model is planned in Europe.

Growth Targets for 2026

After its strongest retail sales year in 2025, Polestar now expects low double-digit volume growth in 2026. The company also plans to expand its retail network by 30%.

With a growing lineup and broader global footprint, Polestar positions itself for the next phase of the EV race.
