A New Era for the Cayenne
Porsche is preparing to launch the 2026 Cayenne Electric, and the spotlight is firmly on its interior. Revealed this week, the new design showcases a fully digital dashboard built around sweeping curved displays. Porsche calls it the “Flow Display,” describing it as the interior of the future.
Curved OLED Screens Everywhere
At the heart of the setup are two curved OLED screens. A 14.25-inch driver display bends toward the eyes, delivering crisp, customizable information. Beside it, a vertically curved center screen makes it easier to access menus, navigation, and entertainment. Buyers can also add a 14.9-inch passenger display and an augmented reality head-up display, turning the cabin into a connected tech hub.
Apple-Inspired Layout
The design feels familiar for a reason. Porsche’s new interface takes inspiration from smartphone and Apple CarPlay Ultra-style layouts, with widgets and multi-layer navigation. The upper section of the main screen shows maps and data, while the lower section offers consistent access to key menus. Touch-sensitive panels around the steering wheel give drivers quick control of traction, suspension, and lights.
Real Buttons Still Matter
Despite the digital push, Porsche hasn’t abandoned physical controls. Below the center display, toggles for temperature and fan speed remain, along with a drum-style volume roller. The steering wheel keeps tactile buttons for drive modes, cruise control, and audio, blending digital convenience with classic Porsche ergonomics.
Luxury, Choice, and AI Assistance
Inside, buyers will find a wide range of personalization. Thirteen interior colors, five accent packs, and four trim packages allow for endless combinations. Materials include Race-Tex microfiber or vintage Pepita fabric, with “Mood Modes” syncing lighting, audio, and climate for a tailored experience. On top of that, an AI-powered assistant responds to natural speech and follow-up questions, promising smarter in-car conversations.
The Big Picture
With its mix of performance, personalization, and cutting-edge displays, the Cayenne Electric marks Porsche’s vision of tomorrow’s SUV. And with reports of up to 1,000 horsepower in the Turbo version, this digital-focused Cayenne still packs the muscle to match its screens.
