Tata’s Harrier EV Promises Big Range, Premium Features

A Premium EV with Range Rover DNA

Tata Motors has officially unveiled the Harrier EV, and it’s already making waves in the electric SUV space. Inspired by the Range Rover Velar, this all-electric SUV blends rugged design with upscale comfort, and comes in two variants to fit a wide range of needs.

Powerful Specs, Two Distinct Variants

The base model starts at just $25,800 USD, delivering 238 PS of power from a 65 kWh battery. It’s rear-wheel drive and promises a solid 465 km of range—ideal for both urban use and weekend getaways.

For those wanting more, the top variant is expected to land between $36,000–$38,000 USD. It boasts 396 PS, an all-wheel-drive setup, and a 75 kWh battery offering up to 500 km of range on a full charge. Acceleration and control are enhanced without compromising efficiency.

Premium Tech with Everyday Practicality

The Harrier EV includes ADAS Level 2 for added driver confidence, along with a lifetime battery warranty—a major boost for long-term ownership value. The vehicle is built on Tata’s advanced Gen 2 EV architecture, making it future-ready with room for tech upgrades and OTA capabilities.

Designed and Built for India

Tata Motors is betting big on local innovation, and the Harrier EV is a proud reflection of that. The SUV’s stylish design, competitive pricing, and generous range aim to tackle India’s core EV concerns: affordability, performance, and practicality.

With a growing lineup that includes models like the Tiago EV, Tigor EV, and upcoming Sierra EV, Tata is positioning itself as India’s EV leader. And with the Harrier EV, they’re not just keeping pace—they’re setting it.
