Elon Musk has confirmed he’s crafting Master Plan Part 4, and it’s shaping up to be his boldest roadmap yet. During Tesla’s Q2 2025 earnings call, Musk teased the next evolution of the company’s mission. While he held back on specifics, his message came through loud and clear: Tesla is preparing for a seismic shift in how it operates—and how it impacts the world.
From Pre-Autonomy to Post-Autonomy
According to Musk, Tesla is entering a new era—transitioning from a pre-autonomy world to a post-autonomy reality. This shift, he said, is more than a tech upgrade; it’s a redefinition of daily life. What Master Plan 4 Might Include
Though still in development, Master Plan 4 will likely focus on sustainable abundance, a concept Musk has mentioned before. With the Robotaxi service already live in Austin, and Optimus V3 set for production in 2026, Tesla’s roadmap seems to be heading toward large-scale automation.
Picture fleets of Cybercabs replacing personal vehicles, and humanoid robots like Optimus assisting in homes, factories, and cities. It’s a vision where autonomy fuels not just convenience, but efficiency, accessibility, and even affordability.
