The 2026 Polestar 4 Is Here—and It’s Not Built in China

A Global EV for the American Road

Polestar’s newest model, the 2026 Polestar 4, is officially available for U.S. buyers. Priced from $56,400 (plus a $1,400 destination fee), it’s the most affordable model in Polestar’s growing electric lineup. But unlike its predecessor, this version won’t come from China—it’ll be built in Busan, South Korea, through a partnership with Renault. Production begins this summer, with first deliveries expected in fall 2025.

This EV SUV coupe blends Swedish design and global manufacturing, offering American drivers something fresh, fast, and fully electric. With its futuristic looks and competitive pricing, the 4 is poised to grab attention from both luxury buyers and Tesla fans alike.

Bold Performance, Standard Power

Every Polestar 4 is powered by a 100 kWh battery. The Long Range Single Motor setup offers 272 hp and a projected 300-mile range, while the Dual Motor version ramps things up to 544 hp and a 0–60 mph time of just 3.7 seconds.

Fast charging is supported up to 200 kW DC, with 11 kW AC for Level 2 home charging. Polestar’s new charging system is compatible with most public chargers across the U.S., ensuring flexibility wherever you drive.

Tech, Comfort, and Customization

Standard features include Google’s Android Automotive OS, a panoramic roof, adaptive cruise, wireless phone charging, and a 360-degree camera. The formerly optional Pilot Pack—including Pilot Assist and Lane Change Assist—is now included on all trims.

Optional upgrades include the $5,500 Plus Pack with heated rear seats, 3-zone climate control, and a Harman Kardon sound system. The Performance Pack (available on Dual Motor only) adds 22-inch forged wheels, Brembo brakes, and Polestar Engineered tuning.

Designed for the Future

The 2026 Polestar 4 eliminates the rear window entirely, replacing it with a roof-mounted camera that enhances rear visibility. Inside, you’ll find eco-conscious materials like recycled carpets, ECONYL® plastics, and bio-based vinyl. 85% of the car is recyclable, and it has the lowest carbon footprint of any Polestar to date.

With the Polestar 2 discontinued in the U.S., the 4 now takes center stage—ushering in the next era of clean, performance-driven design.
