MINI revives its Monte Carlo glory. However, this time, it leads with electric power. The new MINI 1965 Victory Edition celebrates the brand’s iconic 1965 rally win — and brings that spirit into the EV era.
Rally DNA, Now Fully Electric
In 1965, the classic Mini Cooper S conquered Monte Carlo. It impressed with agility, control, and fearless performance in brutal winter conditions. Now, MINI channels that same energy into the MINI John Cooper Works Electric.
The all-electric JCW delivers up to 258 hp (190 kW). More importantly, it launches from 0–100 km/h in just 5.9 seconds. Instant torque ensures sharp acceleration. As a result, drivers get true hot-hatch excitement — without emissions.
Unlike its combustion predecessor, this version pairs heritage with zero local emissions. Therefore, it represents a bold step forward while honoring the past.
Electric Performance Meets Everyday Usability
The MINI 1965 Victory Edition also comes in combustion variants. However, the spotlight falls on the electric JCW.
It combines strong output with daily practicality. Furthermore, the low center of gravity enhances handling. Tight corners feel controlled. Urban streets feel alive. Meanwhile, the smooth electric drivetrain delivers a refined yet aggressive character.
Consequently, MINI proves that performance and electrification can coexist — and thrive.
A Retro Look with a Modern Edge
The exterior immediately signals racing heritage. The Chili Red paintwork dominates. A white stripe stretches from bonnet to roof. In addition, the iconic white “52” graphic references the original rally car.
The all-electric JCW version features exclusive 18-inch JCW Mastery Spoke black wheels. These wheels sharpen the stance and improve grip. Floating hub caps and red JCW valve details add further motorsport flair.
Subtle “1965” badging on the C-pillar completes the tribute.
A Cockpit Built for Drivers
Inside, the theme continues. Door sills display bold “1965” lettering. Red and black accents reinforce the sporty mood. Moreover, the sports steering wheel features edition-specific details, including “1965” branding at the six o’clock position.
Every drive becomes a reminder of MINI’s rally roots — now electrified.
