Audi’s 2025 E-Tron GT arrives with significant updates, but they come at a higher price tag. The starting price for the refreshed model has increased by $18,800, bringing the entry-level S E-Tron GT to $126,795, including the destination charge. While the price hike is notable, the upgrades make the extra cost more palatable, offering impressive boosts in power, range, and charging capabilities.
The 2025 E-Tron GT lineup now features a more powerful S E-Tron GT, which serves as the entry-level model. The dual-motor all-wheel-drive setup delivers 670 horsepower, a significant jump from the previous model’s 523 hp. With these enhancements, the car accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.3 seconds—a 0.6-second improvement over the previous generation.
For those seeking even more thrills, the RS E-Tron GT Performance returns, now boasting a jaw-dropping 912 horsepower, up from 647 hp in the 2024 model. Audi claims the RS model can achieve 0-60 mph in 2.4 seconds, with an additional 94 horsepower available through a push-to-pass function that provides bursts of power at speeds over 19 mph. This makes the RS E-Tron GT Audi’s quickest and most powerful production car.
Price Hike for Improved Range
One of the most welcome updates for 2025 is the larger, more efficient 105-kWh battery pack, which replaces the previous 93.4-kWh pack. Not only does it offer a 12% increase in capacity, but it’s also 25 pounds lighter. The result? A longer range. The S E-Tron GT can now travel up to 300 miles on a single charge, compared to the 249 miles of the 2024 model.
Charging has also been improved. With the new 320 kW charging rate, the E-Tron GT can go from 10% to 80% charge in just 18 minutes, shaving 3.5 minutes off the previous charge time. Regenerative braking is more efficient as well, with the maximum recoverable energy increasing from 290 kW to 400 kW.
While the exterior design of the 2025 E-Tron GT remains largely the same, Audi’s focus this year has been on refining the car’s performance and usability. These updates mirror those found in the 2025 Porsche Taycan, which shares the same platform.
The 2025 Audi E-Tron GT is now available to order in the U.S., with production continuing at Böllinger Höfe in Germany. With the performance gains, improved range, and faster charging, Audi is positioning the E-Tron GT as a top contender in the luxury EV market.
