More Miles, More Muscle
The 2025 Honda Prologue just got better. Honda has boosted range and power for its all-electric SUV, making it a stronger competitor in the EV market.
The single-motor, front-wheel-drive Prologue now offers 308 miles of range, up 12 miles from last year. All-wheel-drive models also see improvements, with the EX and Touring trims now reaching 294 miles—a 13-mile gain. Even the top-tier Elite trim, which comes with larger 21-inch wheels, now offers 283 miles, up 10 miles from before.
More Power for a Better Drive
Honda didn’t just improve range—it added more power, too. The single-motor model now delivers 220 hp and 243 lb-ft of torque, an increase of 8 hp and 7 lb-ft. Meanwhile, all-wheel-drive models pack 300 hp and 355 lb-ft, gaining 12 hp and 25 lb-ft for quicker acceleration.
Charging remains the same, with DC fast-charging up to 150 kW, allowing 65 miles of range in 10 minutes or a 20-80% charge in 35 minutes. The 11.5 kW onboard charger enables a full charge in eight hours with a proper home setup.
Price Remains Competitive
Despite these upgrades, Honda is keeping the price steady. The base Prologue EX starts at $48,850, including destination fees, which is only $55 more than last year. The Touring trim starts at $53,150, while the Elite trim sits at $59,350. All-wheel drive remains a $3,000 option for EX and Touring models but comes standard on the Elite trim.
Honda also expects the Prologue to qualify for the full $7,500 federal EV tax credit, making it an even better deal.
A Step Toward Honda’s EV Future
Built on GM’s Ultium platform, the Prologue serves as Honda’s bridge to its upcoming in-house EVs. The company plans to launch its next-gen “0 Series” EVs in 2026, designed entirely by Honda.
With better range, more power, and competitive pricing, the 2025 Honda Prologue is shaping up to be a strong choice for EV buyers—especially those loyal to Honda.
