Cadillac’s new flagship electric vehicle, the 2026 Vistiq, is a luxury three-row SUV that pushes the boundaries of performance, technology, and craftsmanship in the electric vehicle market. Starting at $78,790, the Vistiq fills the gap between the affordable Lyriq and the high-end Escalade IQ, offering customers a unique combination of power, comfort, and innovation.
As already mentioned, the 2026 Vistiq is fully electric, marking Cadillac’s continued push toward an all-electric future. Equipped with a powerful dual-motor all-wheel-drive system, the Vistiq delivers 615 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of near-instant torque. Powered by a 102-kilowatt-hour (kWh) battery pack, the SUV offers an estimated range of 300 miles on a full charge, making it suitable for both long road trips and daily commutes. Cadillac’s electric drivetrain ensures smooth acceleration and minimal noise, providing a quiet and seamless driving experience. A 0-60 mph time of 3.7 seconds with Velocity Max mode showcases the Vistiq’s sporty performance, while the vehicle’s chassis damping control and optional Air Ride Adaptive suspension provide enhanced ride comfort, even on rough roads.
Cadillac Vistiq Technology
The 2026 Cadillac Vistiq is designed with advanced technology to elevate the driving experience. The standard Super Cruise system offers hands-free driving assistance on select highways, allowing the driver to relax while the car handles the steering, acceleration, and braking. Additionally, the Vistiq is equipped with a 23-speaker AKG Studio audio system with Dolby Atmos® for a rich, 3D sound experience. The interior boasts a 33-inch diagonal high-resolution LED touchscreen that spans across the dashboard, serving as the central control hub for media, navigation, and vehicle settings.
As part of Cadillac’s commitment to sustainability, the Vistiq’s interior features eco-friendly materials. The cabin includes carbon fiber trim, Lumen open-pore wood, and recycled fabrics. The Premium Luxury trim features upholstery made from recycled yarns, further highlighting the brand’s push for sustainability in luxury design. The SUV’s interior is spacious, with all three rows providing ample legroom and comfort. The third row, often a compromise in luxury SUVs, offers premium amenities such as padded armrests, smartphone storage, cupholders, and USB chargers, ensuring all passengers enjoy a high-end experience.
Bidirectional Charging V2H
The Vistiq offers cutting-edge electric features, including bidirectional charging, which allows the vehicle to transfer power back to a home during a power outage. With the optional GM Energy V2H bundle, the Vistiq can act as an energy source, supporting household needs in times of emergency. This feature highlights the vehicle’s versatility and Cadillac’s commitment to providing sustainable solutions beyond just driving.
Vistiq Has a Bold Design
The Vistiq’s exterior design is a modern take on Cadillac’s iconic luxury styling. It features sleek lines, a Black Crystal Shield grille, and vertical LED lamps front and rear, making it instantly recognizable as part of the Cadillac EV family. The SUV is also available with 21-inch, 22-inch, or 23-inch wheels, offering a range of styles to match the driver’s preferences. Inside, the cabin combines a high-tech aesthetic with practicality, including a configurable seating arrangement and substantial storage options. The cabin also benefits from Road Noise Cancellation technology, making the ride even quieter.
Cadillac equips the Vistiq with premium safety features to ensure a secure driving experience. Standard technologies include Blind Zone Steering Assist, Side Bicyclist Alert, Forward Collision Alert, and OnStar Automatic Crash Response. The Vistiq also offers Night Vision, which uses an infrared sensor to help drivers see pedestrians or animals in the dark, adding an extra layer of safety. The vehicle’s premium suite of driver assistance features makes it a safe choice for families.
The 2026 Cadillac Vistiq will be built at General Motors’ Spring Hill Manufacturing plant in Tennessee, with production set to begin in early 2025. Cadillac plans to offer the Vistiq globally, including in the U.S. and Canada. At launch, it will be available in three trims: Luxury, Sport, and Premium Luxury, with a Platinum trim coming in mid-2025, offering even more customization options.
