Genesis GV60 Turns Into an All-Electric Snow Rescue Machine!

Genesis GV60 Turns Into an All-Electric Snow Rescue Machine!

Genesis has taken its luxury EV crossover to the extreme with a custom-built, all-electric mountain rescue vehicle. Meet the GV60 Mountain Intervention Vehicle (MIV)—a rugged concept designed to tackle deep snow, harsh terrain, and emergency rescues with zero emissions.

From Crossover to Snowmobile

The GV60 MIV ditches traditional wheels for rubber snow tracks, allowing it to glide over icy landscapes with ease. Its instant electric torque ensures powerful traction, making it ideal for reaching stranded hikers and mountaineers in remote locations.

Genesis also added carbon fiber wheel arch extensions to protect against flying debris, proving this isn’t just for looks—it’s built for real-world action.

Packed with Life-Saving Tech

Beyond its extreme exterior, the GV60 MIV is loaded with emergency gear. The vehicle features a communication system, medical supplies, and rescue tools, turning it into a mobile command center in the snow.

Thanks to its Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) technology, it can power tools and equipment directly from its high-voltage battery—crucial for first responders operating in extreme conditions.

Adventure-Ready Upgrades

To handle the toughest missions, the GV60 MIV also includes:

  • Heavy-duty skid plates for added protection
  • Towing hooks for pulling stranded vehicles or gear
  • Extra roof storage for supplies
  • Enhanced lighting for visibility in extreme weather

Can You Build One?

While this is just a concept, Genesis used off-the-shelf parts, meaning a dedicated owner could modify a standard GV60 into a similar adventure-ready EV.

The GV60 MIV debuted at WEF 2025 in Davos, Switzerland, marking the brand’s third concept at the event.
