Lucid Accelerates Retail Expansion in California

Lucid Motors is planting deeper roots in its home state. On October 13, 2025, the EV maker announced two new Studio and Service Center openings in San Jose and San Diego, marking a significant step in its U.S. expansion strategy. These centers offer more customers a chance to experience the award-winning Lucid Air and the upcoming Lucid Gravity SUV firsthand.

Meeting Surging Customer Demand

“Customer demand for Lucid vehicles continues to accelerate, fueled by increasing recognition of our award-winning performance, best-in-class range, and distinctive California-inspired design,” said Erwin Raphael, Vice President of Revenue at Lucid. “We have ambitious expansion plans and intend to continue growing our retail footprint across the U.S. to ensure we continue to provide an exceptional experience for our customers.”

The new facilities give drivers more opportunities to test drive, explore, and service Lucid’s high-performance EVs while reinforcing the company’s commitment to a premium customer experience.

New Locations and What They Offer

The San Jose Studio and Service Center, located at 250 Stockton Ave., opened with a ribbon-cutting event attended by city officials and Lucid fans. It’s positioned in downtown San Jose, easily accessible from Highways 280 and 87.

The San Diego location, at 4141 Ruffin Road, opens November 8. It’s just minutes from Highway 15 and will offer both sales and full vehicle servicing.

Statewide and Global Growth

With these additions, Lucid now operates 15 locations across California, spanning from Sacramento to San Diego. Globally, the brand boasts 64 Studios and Service Centers.

The Road Ahead for Lucid

These new locations reflect Lucid’s long-term commitment to its growing customer base. As the EV market heats up, Lucid is racing forward—offering more access, more support, and more reasons for drivers to go electric.
