A Smarter and Sharper EV Upgrade
Volkswagen has officially revealed the updated ID.3 Neo, a refreshed version of its compact electric hatchback. The update brings a new design direction, improved efficiency, and a much longer driving range.
Volkswagen is positioning it as a return to its “True Volkswagen” identity, focusing on simplicity, usability, and driver-friendly design.
Nearly 400 Miles of Range
The biggest upgrade is range. The top version of the ID.3 Neo can now travel up to 391 miles (630 km) on a single charge under WLTP testing.
This puts it among the most efficient compact EVs in its class, making it far more suitable for long-distance driving than earlier versions.
New Design Inside and Out
The exterior has been redesigned with a full-width LED light bar, illuminated VW badge, and a more classic hatchback silhouette inspired by models like the Golf.
Inside, Volkswagen has brought back physical buttons for key controls, responding to customer feedback after years of fully touchscreen-heavy interiors.
The cabin features a 10.25-inch driver display and a 12.9-inch central touchscreen, balancing digital features with easier usability.
Multiple Battery and Power Options
Buyers will be able to choose from several trims and power levels, ranging from 167 hp to 228 hp depending on configuration.
Battery options include 50 kWh, 58 kWh, and 79 kWh packs, giving buyers flexibility between price, range, and performance.
Even the entry-level model delivers solid daily usability, while higher trims push into long-range territory.
A Shift Back to Simplicity
Volkswagen says the ID.3 Neo represents a shift back to what drivers actually want—clear controls, familiar design, and practical performance instead of overly complex interfaces.
Pre-sales begin soon in Europe, with official pricing expected shortly before its market launch.
